The garden room has a large glazed frontage, so a T2Red + Reflecta system was chosen. The T2Red self-regulating heating cables automatically reduce their output in response to solar gain.
The cables were installed in pre-grooved, thermally insulated and aluminium-covered Reflecta plates for optimum heat distribution. It is said to be the most efficient electric floor-heating system on the market and can be assembled to fit all room sizes.
For the gym and shower, Spectrum installed ultra-thin preformatted QuickNet power mats. For faster heat up, the customer opted for an output of 160 W/m2 rather than the standard 90 W/m2.
