Inviron purchases Commtech maintenance division

Inviron has purchased the specialist maintenance division of Commtech, a subsidiary of IMI. The division has a number of common clients and a similar history to Inviron. The purchase has been financed by Inviron itself.

Garry Metcalfe, managing director of Inviron, says, ‘At Inviron, our primary strategy is to grow organically, which is what we have done. We are also getting close to our vision of becoming the most respected building-services provider in the UK.

‘The opportunity to purchase a division of this size, cultural fit and clientele, given our previous experience, proved compelling.’

IMI has retained ownership of Commtech Ltd and its commissioning division.
