Keston has supplied a C55 wall-mounted LPG condensing boiler to help provide the optimum breeding environment. It replaces an old inefficient boiler system which had its own plant room.
The hatchery requires a constant 30°C, and the new boiler tops up the heat exchangers with the additional heat required. It also services six radiators in offices and corridors. The small-diameter flue can extend up to 45 m vertically or horizontally. One of the deciding factors was the small space required for installation.
