Central mechanical extract ventilator is energy efficient

A central mechanical extract ventilator with a specific fan power as low as 0.18 W/l/s and a maximum capacity of 325 m3/h has been launched by Titon. Independently tested for SAP Appendix Q by the BRE, it exceeds the Energy Saving Trust’s best-practice guidelines. Maintenance of the WCME100 is very easy as the fan’s backward-curved fans accumulate very little dust. It has an energy-efficient motor and can ventilate a dwelling with a kitchen and two wet rooms. To minimise noise, this unit has a pyramid-shaped internal silencer of polyurethane/polyester acoustic foam.
