Under this contract T&A will supply TA-HUB, as well as balancing and standard line valves.
This development of 18 580 m2 designed by Cre8 Architecture will occupy a brownfield site on the former location of Edinburgh’s meat market. The original 5 m-high listed arched entrance to the meat market will be moved and re-erected.
Graeme Waugh, TA’s regional sales manager for Scotland and Ireland, says, ‘Tour & Andersson’s depth of product range and technical expertise will prove invaluable in the operation of this contract. Also, on a project of this size, the savings that using the TA-HUB make possible can make a significant difference to total costs.’
Exchange place will consist of three office buildings of 10 459, 5496 and 2597 m2. Each will be of steel-frame construction with traditional stone cladding in precast panels and glazing. The development is scheduled for completion in Spring 2009.
