Armstrong re-organises its pump operations
Published:  October 2004

Pump manufacturer Armstrong has restructured its UK operations following the rapid integration of its sales teams, product lines and business systems with those of Armstrong Holden Brooke Pullen.

The Manchester site will produce all Armstrong fire and HVAC pumps and equipment, thus streamlining its UK operations.

Four customer-support centres are being created in Colchester, Manchester, Redhill and Newcastle to provide sales, applications, customer-service and field-service support for specific customers sectors or geographic areas.

Charles Armstrong, president of the company, says, ‘The UK companies are aligning their operations to provide the very best service and solutions to the building-services and fire-protection markets, creating centres of excellence in Manchester for manufacturing and in Colchester, Redhill, Manchester and Newcastle for pump sales and service.’
