Brian Marshall, a director of Vale Heating, designed the installation with five solar collectors, each with 16 tubes. He tells us, ‘Having attended Vaillant’s 2-day BPEC-accredited solar training course, we were keen to get our first installation under our belt. Solar domestic hot water was by far the best choice for this installation as the family was keen to become as energy efficient as possible, as well as being able to lower their fuel bills.
