AquaTech enhances the performance of its pressurisation units
Published:  July 2007

Micro-processor control and transducer system pressure measurement are key features of AquaTech’s Aquapress pressurisation units.

AquaTech pressurisation units for heating and chilled-water systems provide back-pressure and back-siphonage protection to fluid category 5, as required by the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations of 1999.

The MP41 and MP51 systems incorporate AquaTech’s reliable micro-processor control and accurate transducer for measuring system pressure. They replace the MS41 and MS51 units, which used pressure-switch control.

The MP41 is designed for systems up to 3000 l or 300 kW and the MP51 for systems up to 6000 l or 600 kW. Both systems have a maximum operating temperature of 90°C and cold-fill pressures form 1 to 3 bar.

They operate automatically to maintain system pressure. If high or low pressure conditions should occur, the volt-free contact can interrupt the operation of the chiller or boiler.
