Belimo valve assembly maintains constant preset flow
Published:  June 2007

By combining the functions of pressure-reduction valve (1), differential-pressure control (2) and ball valve with characterising disc (3) valves from Belimo deliver a constant flow at a wide range of differential pressures.

Belimo’s pressure-independent characterised control valves greatly simplify the design and installation of hydronic systems by delivering a constant preset flow over a wide range of differential pressure such as are encountered in systems with variable-speed pumps.

These valves deliver a flow that is steady to within ±5% with a differential pressure from 30 to 350 kPa. Below 30 kPa, they operate like a characterised control valve with a virtual kvs value.

These units also incorporate a quarter-turn full-bore ball valve for bubble-tight isolation with no leakage.
