Called CommPac, these modules accommodate all the component valves and pipework inside an insulated galvanised sheet-metal housing. They would typically be located in the ceiling area of corridors or cupboards in hotels, school sand office buildings and provide ease of access without disruption to occupiers.
Inside the box are manifolds comprising Crane regulating and isolating valves, a strainer and Crane Dominator H-body for flushing. All units will be custom built to suit individual specifications. A differential-pressure control valve will be included for variable-flow systems.
All site connections can be made without entering the box. Connections are female BSPT. Fan-coil units can be flush, vented and balanced by one commissioning engineer, dispensing with the time-consuming looping-out procedure.
