The systems were installed by Carmel Building Services of Epsom to a design by Hilson Moran of Farnborough.
Conditioned air for open-plan offices on floors two to six is supplied by 111 FXQS slimline fan-coil units in the ceilings ducted to linear diffusers around the perimeter. They are served by 14 outdoor units grouped into two purposed-designed acoustic enclosures on the roofs of the fourth and seventh floors. The resulting seven VRV systems are controlled in zones by remote wall-mounted room-temperature controllers linked to a Daikin I controller in the ground-floor control room.
Cooling and heating loads for the complex are 474 and 392 kW, respectively.
