Air conditioning is supplied to all living, lounge and dining areas and bedrooms by 153 fan-coil units with cooling capacities from 2.2 to 14 kW and heating from 2.5 to 16 kW. They are located in false ceilings and ducted to linear diffuser grilles in architecturally designed high-level bulkhead enclosures in each area.
There are 10 VRV heat-recovery condensing units in the basement car park. They have cooling capacities from 22.4 to 96 kW and heating from 25 to 108 kW. Areas without air conditioning, such as kitchen, bathroom and hall, have underfloor heating.
All VRV systems are controlled locally via simplified remote controllers, enabling occupants to switch air conditioning on and off and change setpoint temperatures, fan speed and airflow.
These controllers are linked to a stand-alone and extended central Daikin computerised control system in the concierge office of the overall development. The system gives the building owner a comprehensive overview of usage patterns of air conditioning in individual buildings and apartments — as well as access to centralised management, timing, demand and service facilities.
