Each EasiHeat has half the capacity of the old hot-water boiler and is served with steam from the factory’s process steam boilers. Nigel Withers, engineering projects and maintenance manager with L’Oreal, says, ‘We thought we would need to run both EasiHeats in parallel, yet we have been able to keep one on standby all the time.’
Lower maintenance costs are a further advantage. Not only are the EasiHeat units easier to maintain, but they do not required a statutory annual inspection. The compact heat-exchange package delivers hot water at the required temperature and has a matched combination of controls, plate heat exchanger and condensate-removal equipment.
