Lochinvar keeps Coventry hotel in hot water

Coventry’s renovated Ramada Hotel has its hot-water requirements met by equipment from Lochinvar’s copper-fin range.

Hot water for the newly renovated 166-room Ramada Hotel & Suites in Coventry is supplied by a low-storage system comprising two Lochinvar CFW water heaters and two LST 250 storage tanks in a rooftop plant room.

The equipment is from Lochinvar’s copper-fin range, which operates on the principle of low storage with fast recovery of hot water. Thermal efficiencies of 94% are achieved, with NOx emissions of 9.9 p.p.m.

The LST 250 storage tanks on this project each have a capacity of 1155 litres to cope with peak demands.

This hotel is in a 17-storey landmark building in Coventry town centre. It has 44 suite apartments, 30 studio apartments and 92 executive rooms.
