The 2-storey Milbury House provides 195 m2 of high-specification space in landscaped grounds. While cooling is an attractive part of the package offered to tenants, the system was nevertheless specified for its space-heating capabilities.
Two 10 kW twin-split Toshiba digital inverter systems with ceiling cassettes were installed by Eesicool Air Conditioning of Gloucestershire. For the developer, it was important not to have perimeter space take up by radiators.
Each system has a COP of over 3.5 at full capacity and considerably more at smaller loads. The two outdoor units are neatly sited on a plinth in a concealed location.
