Women MPs were recently given an opportunity to learn about basic plumbing at an event to highlight the advantages of a career in manual trades for women. Run by Women & Manual Trades and sponsored by the JIVE project, the session gave the MPs five top plumbing tips and a practical session on pipework, including bending and joints.
