A course on water treatment and preventing legionella has been developed by Logic Certification to enable those involved in installing and maintaining hot- and cold-water storage and service supplies to thoroughly understand how legionella bacteria are formed, the associated health risks and prevention using chemical water treatments. The course will also enable them to understand their duties and obligations as laid out in HSE document L8.
