The significant reductions in installation time made possible by Crane’s Dominator combination valve units has been exploited in a major office in the Trinity Gardens development in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Over 350 Crane Dominator valve units have been installed to control heating and chilled water to fan-coil units in the 5600 m2 office development at Trinity Gardens In Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Dominator Z3000 units are a compact combination of all the valves and fittings associated with fan-coil units. Their use makes installation quicker and easier, dramatically reducing installation time and cost.

Ken Symonds of M&E contractor Norstead comments, ‘Crane Dominator units have been installed as they offer the most compact and cost-effective option. We also know that there will be no problems after installation as all units are tested at Crane before delivery to us.’

The development also includes a 500-space multi-storey car park, a Travelodge hotel extension, 60 luxury apartments and ground-floor retail units.
