The V3 heaters qualify for Enhanced Capital Allowances and were installed by Ellison Energy Services of Shipley. The 6500 m2 warehouse and production facility has 17 heaters installed at high level between the racks. To enhance the efficiency of this heating installation, 19 ceiling-mounted Maximizor destratification fans recirculate warm air from high level to floor level.
The heaters and destratification fans are programmed to work together to minimise fuel consumption. The whole system is controlled by a fully programmable heating-management system managed remotely from a PC.
