The seamless drawn copper tube used is purged using nitrogen during annealing, giving a very clean tube with carbon levels well below current standards for refrigeration applications. The pipework is then pre-insulated with a closed-cell foam, which reduces the cost of installation.
Further savings are achieved with Duosplit, which comprises two insulated copper tubes of different diameters (for refrigerant flow and return). These tubes are joined with a connection system that permits separation and re-joining without damage or the need for special tools.
This insulated tubing is available on coils in a range of sizes.
